Elastomeric Molded Parts

Our rubber units can make all kinds of profile required by our customer. The possibility to have different technologies in molding, including compression, injection and transfer processes, combined with finishing solutions like cryogenic, tumbling and punching allows us the possibility to choose the best process.

The development and the production in-house of every compound complete the manufacturing cycle.

We have the ability to supply zero defect products with extremely tight tolerances.

We can manufacture many kind of O-Ring and Back-Up Ring, in rubber, thermoplastic and PTFE.

We are also able to develop and produce special compounds & materials to meet specific functions and applications.

We have a complete program of all standard dimensions in different materials always in stock in all of our logistic centers.

ELASTOMERS

Perfluoroelastomer and FEP/PFA Encapsulated Seals

The more aggressive the environment, the more critical it becomes to optimize seal design and material selection.

High performance fulfilling extreme application requirements and also industry specifications e.g. NORSOK M 710 for Oil & Gas, FDA, 3-A Sanitary Standards, USP Class VI for Food & Beverages and Pharma can be achieved with Gapi’s comprehensive range of GPlastTM perfluoroelastomer (FFKM) material grades that offer exceptional chemical and thermal resistance (-45°C to 330°C).

Encapsulated O Rings and Seals can be a solution in harsh environments as well having a service temperature range of -60°C to 260°C.

We can produce specific profiles for different applications, like white industry, gear boxes, engines, mechanical transmission and pumps.

Our technical team can develop any new seal in co-design with the customer.

We have a complete program of sizes according to DIN 3760 standard and always in stock in our logistic centers.

ELASTOMERS

Cassette and Combi Seals

Cassette and combi seals are developed to satisfy heavy duty applications like construction and agricultural machines.

Shock absorber seals are made for axial movement in the presence of oil at high pressure, direct or pulsating, where there is a high dynamic eccentricity or a violent traverse stress.

Our technical team can develop any new seals in co-design with the customer and design very complex profiles with the combination of different materials; elastomer and metal combining PTFE and polyurethane are commonly used.

We have test equipment that can simulate the specific applications of our customers and even more extreme mud conditions.

ELASTOMERS

Elastomeric Brake Parts

We produce all kinds of elastomeric parts required in a brake system, both calipers and drum brakes. We supply zero defect parts with extremely tight tolerances fulfilling the IATF 16949 requirements.

Lip seals, square seals, piston boot with and without metallic insert, bellows, dust boots, diaphragms, bushing, caps, connections, valve seals are the main products.

Our standard compounds are compatible with synthetic brake fluids or mineral oils.

We work according to the customer drawing and in many cases, we develop in co-design.

PTFE

PTFE Basic Shapes out of

proprietary Materials

Our plants and equipments can produce semi-finished products with different technologies.

We manufacture out of proprietary materials manufactured in-house basic shapes such as sheets, tapes, rods and tubes in virgin PTFE as well as PTFE filled with glass fibre, carbon, bronze or other fillers on demand.

Thin walled tubes are produced by paste extrusion in different dimensions and colours.

Small dimension tubes "Spaghetti" are manufactured as per AMS Standards and larger dimensions are produced in metric dimensions, both are available on stock.

PTFE Sealing Solutions

and parts

We develop and produce PTFE Sealing Solutions and Parts out of our proprietary materials.

Our technical department can develop profiles following the customer requirements and can develop any new tailor-made sealing solution in co-design with the customer.

Finally, we manufacture with lathes or state of the art CNC equipment various products such as O-rings, back up rings, skived tapes, valve seat ring, nozzles, piston rings and insulators.

Pneumatic Seals

We manufacture a complete range of seals for static and dynamic applications in Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems. Piston and rod seals, wipers, wear rings and static seals are the main products. Material including Polyurethane, Elastomers, PTFE and Thermoplastics are commonly used.

Our technical team can develop any new seal in co-design with the customer.

We have a standard program of metric seals always available in our logistic centers.

In our laboratories, we can carry out life-time tests to guarantee the best performance.

THERMOPLASTICS

Customized large Diameter

Polyurethane Sealing Solutions

Gapi develops and produce large diameter (up to 750mm) Sealing Solutions based on polyurethane.

Our technical team can develop any tailor-made sealing solution to meet customer application requirements.

For examples parts are manufactured in-house in a metric range of styles, including MAD - a U style part, CSC - a solid piston / rod seal style and ASR - a wiper seal style.

High Performance

Thermoplastic Components

GAPI provides injection molded components for high end applications, with a focus on friction, wear, dimensional stability and stiffness.

Preferred materials are TORLON (PAI), PEEK and PPS. For reliable performance at extremely high temperature and stress, TORLON polymers are the appropriate solution, covering a temperature range from cryogenic up to 260°C (500°F).

GAPI offers full service, including a high level of engineering and development, material selection and processing, test facilities and assembly support, zero defect parts fulfilling the IATF 16949 requirements.
